About Lynn
Lynn's journey on the yogic path began in 2001 while grieving the devastating loss of her mother to cancer a few years earlier. Her first yoga class brought an immense sense of peace, something lacking in her life since her mother’s death, and she was immediately hooked. Through dedicated study and consistent practice of yoga and meditation, Lynn navigated through periods of emotional pain and deep grief, and this process led her to the path of sharing yoga with others. Lynn completed a 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training program at the Yandara Yoga Institute in Baja California Sur, and went on to complete an advanced 300-hr Yoga Teacher Training, and an 800-hr professional training in Yoga Therapy through Inner Peace Yoga Therapy. She has taught group and private yoga sessions since 2007. Lynn is the owner of Birdsong Yoga Therapy where she applies the tools of yoga to help her clients navigate grief, chronic pain, chronic illness, and menopause.
